Dr. Kurt Whitlow
Dr. Whitlow has instructed other doctors both, inside and outside, of his practice. He utilizes his extensive training and experience to treat even the most challenging dental situations. He has been serving the patients in our community for last 29 years. Through continuing education and state-of-the-art equipment, our practice is able to offer you and your family the high level of care you are looking for.
Dr. Whitlow attended California State University Fresno and received his bachelor’s degree in 1984. He then graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1987.
He has been helping patients so they can enjoy eating and smiling again with dental implants for over 20 years. He uses different methods of implant dentistry to “rescue” the denture patient and those with debilitated teeth needing complete reconstruction. He also has been preforming sedation dentistry for our fearful patients since 2001. All treatment is performed in our office. This combined with advanced techniques allow even the most compromised individual to return to a life of enjoying dental health.
Dr. Whitlow was born and raised in Fresno and is a third-generation dentist. Through the Christian Medical and Dental Association, he has made several trips to the Dominican republic as well as locations here in the central valley to provide free dental care to people in need.
Dr. Whitlow has been married to his wife Janice for 32 years and has four adult children. His hobbies include snow and water skiing, hiking and the annual Bass Lake Triathlon.

Dr. Nathan Boyd
Dr. Boyd attended and received his bachelor’s degree in 2008 from Occidental College in Pasadena, California. He then graduated from Howard College of Dentistry in 2012. Dr. Boyd has been helping patients be more confident and smile again with dental implants since 2012. He completed his residency in 2013 from the University Of Utah Hospital. In his time spent at the University, Dr. Boyd received additional training and licensure in sedation dentistry.
Dr. Boyd has received several awards for his skills in prosthodontics and dental implants. He has been trained in the latest techniques of placing and restoring dental implants.
Dr. Boyd has been part of the Whitlow Dental Care family since July 2013. He has a very calming personality that makes each visit comfortable and can put you at ease. He has been helping those in our community that have been frightened to have any dental work done. He has and can provide a very wide range of services from fillings to single implants and full mouth reconstructions.
Dr. Boyd was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has done several local and farming community events with the Christian Medical and Dental Association. He has also been a part of the giving back to the community day that Dr. Whitlow hosts in our office.
